THE “RICHTER FENSTER” – CATHEDRAL, COLOGNE, GERHARD RICHTER

The “Richter Fenster” Cathedral, Cologne

The window of the southern transept of the Cathedral has become famous as the “Richter-Fenster”. The window covers 106 sqm and consists of over 11,000 Lamberts® hand blown glass panels, 9.6 x 9.6 cm, in 72 different colour and shades, accurately grinded and laminated onto safety glass using black silicone bars.
