1500 sqm of cold facade, installed in front of the buildings facade. The single panels, ea. size 1780 x 2140 mm, consist of 10 mm blue thermally shaped float glass (arctic blue). The final texture had been developed according to the requirements of the architect, by producing various samples, fabricated using different moulds and firing times in the kiln. Despite the heavy texture of the panels, it was successfully processed into toughened glass. Especially the bend panels had been quite a challenge, since they not only had to be processed to toughened glass but also being heat soaked tested. Trotz der stark strukturierten Gläser war die Weiterverarbeitung zu ESG möglich. Dabei waren insbesondere die gebogenen Scheiben eine Herausforderung, denn auch diese mussten zu ESG verarbeitet und einem Heat Soak Test unterzogen werden.
