Glass Facade in Hospital Lobby

Artist Guy Kemper designed a inspirational glass art work for the façade glazing of a new hospital building in Spangdahlem, Germany.

To translate his design into glass, Guy chose blue translucent mouth-blown glass. Our artisans hand cut the glass, delicately acid etched and hand painted each piece with silver stain and glass colors. In a final step, all pieces were laminated to clear safety glass.

The 10 panels were installed in the store front system in front of the exciting industrial glazing.
