“Whenever I walk past a field of poppies, I think of Brian.
When the daffodils bloom in spring or cherry blossoms drift from the trees—I think of Brian.
When I’m at the aquarium with my children and see the jellyfish—I think of Brian.
Even when I see skulls—motifs he so often used in his work—I think of Brian.
And whenever I stand beneath the century-old oak tree at home, watching the leaves—I think of Brian.
The list is endless—so many visual impressions are now inseparably linked to him.”
— Frederik Richter, General Manager
Our team mourns the passing of Sir Brian Clarke.
Brian’s work and artistic legacy have left a lasting mark not only on the world of stained glass, but also on the history of our workshop – and most profoundly, on us as individuals and as a team.
Brian’s pioneering vision helped shape contemporary stained glass on a global scale.
We are deeply grateful.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who loved him.
